Ocean Current Webquest

Regular price $4.00

WebQuest's are great resources to use in the classroom because they give the student the freedom to explore the internet on their own finding information pertaining to your lesson, while still giving you control over the websites they use to ensure their safety and appropriateness.

This WebQuest is designed to help students explore the internet in search of information based on OCEAN CURRENTS.

There are 3 - 4 recommended websites for the students to use to help them find the information laid out on the worksheet. Depending on your class you may set up the websites ahead of time, or have them type in the websites themselves.

The worksheet is broken up into a vocabulary section as well as questions they must answer. There is also a diagram for the students to complete.

If they get done early there are some interactive fun websites listed that the students can use to continue learning.

Faye, Occasionally websites are taken down. I have sold this item 5 times in the last 2 months and no one else stated issues so unfortunately between them and you an issue with a website occurred. As I use a webquest during the year I update them as necessary. Occasionally it happens where a website is removed between myself using one and a purchaser using the webquest. I will update the webquest. Please replace the second website with this link: http://oceanexplorer.noaa.gov/edu/learning/player/lesson09.html So that your students can now complete the webquest. I also came across this wave simulator that your students may find interesting: http://www.nationalgeographic.com/volvooceanrace/interactives/waves/ I tested the other 2 websites and had no issues. I do not have it listed in the description that there is an answer key, however, if you message me your email address, I will gladly put one together for you and send it your way. Mike
