I use this lesson as a preview to the PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY section. Students can easily find answers on the internet or their textbooks. It is broken up into 4 groups.
How does a peer teach work???
Break students up into 4 groups. The students are than given the worksheet correlating with the information they are required to teach.
Students will spend the day researching information and putting together a lesson to teach their peers. They will also write several test questions as suggestions for the unit test.

Natural Resources
Climate
This type of lesson is amazing for building cooperative learning skills. It can be chaotic when first introduced, but the students quickly learn what is expected of them.
